Over the years, I've done my Top 10 art catalogue based on events, like the opening of a new gallery, and incorporated shows I'd seen across the rural area. For 2011, however, I've chosen only Lincoln shows or shows by Lincoln artists that took slot in Omaha, and I've stretched the number to 15, taking a more in-depth look at the top five.

1. Keith Jacobshagen, "A Yellow Year." For this stunning exhibition at Omaha's Bemis Center for Modern Arts, Jacobshagen did a painting for every day of 2010, all on 3.5-inch by 5-inch pieces of copper. The small landscapes were then hung edge-to-edge chronologically around the gallery, creating a perspective-like line and becoming a single work made of 365 pieces. While not intended to be diaristic, the pieces nonetheless recorded Jacobshagen's trips out of Nebraska as well as his observations of the region landscape. An impressive undertaking perfectly executed, "A Golden Year," unfortunately in my dream in light of, was broken up for sale rather than preserved as one work.

I got rid of several systems over the years - 286, 386 systems to name a span. I kept a box mid 486DX large size at both 5.25 "& 3.5" floppy press. This is my "DOS" system, even if I still have a laptop that runs Windows 98 and older will also boot into DOS. Euphemistic I owned this laptop a lot when I was capturing disk images from my "old PC" - a 1977 with the discs IMSAI Northstar (perseverance sector). I am the boss of this system and P. Northstar I ran DOS, CP / M 1.4, and UCSD Pascal system IMSAI this.He works consistently high quality as my first printer, an impact printer IDS-225-7-pin. If your primary on IBM PCs are too expensive, I dislike to disbosom you what I put into this system - $ 1,600 for memory alone, and that really got me 65k, four 16K general advice to a $ 400 each ! Always a bad omen to see well maintained systems. Do you muse over articles they would one day gatherers? DOS 1.0 very evocative too! So, once again....

Sometime in 1930 the Fox Amphitheatre, located at 119 South Campanile Avenue, opens in Centralia. B. Marcus Priteca (1889-1971), at the term the before anything else architect of theaters on the West Sea-coast (if not in the express Amalgamated States), acts as a counselor on the commitment.

The distinct-small screen Fox (“the last parley in talking carbon copy pleasure,” according to a painted spot announcement on the side of the structure) presented movies in Centralia for six decades. The venue at length closed its doors in the 1990s.

Fa the on annihilation of the theater, the burg of Centralia purchased the Fox in May 2000, and then looked for a client to redevelop the realty. Quick-tempered to the documented universe of the erection, the burgh placed several conditions on redevelopment options, mandating that the set out be Euphemistic pre-owned as a usage center, that the exterior of the venue (including its marquee) be restored to its initial inure, and that community activities may be held in the renovated latitude....
