On Saturday, January 6, 1940, about 8,000 people marched through the gates of Duke inside the Colosseum, situated about 40 feet Gymnasium calling card for the occupation in the new arena opening. The Coliseum has been hailed as the greatest basketball hall south of Palestra Philadelphia, and was described by the University in the disguise program, the right to freedom of exit command to all spectators, "One of the most modern buildings and superb training nurses in the motherland.” The president of the Durham Bedroom of Mercantilism, Marion Fowler, called it “so giant and so wonderful it leaves me mute.” The pour was reminiscences to be the biggest ever for a basketball meet in the South.

Here's the third installment of ACC basketball notes.

Again, this isn't executed. Missing: Duke, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Clemson and Georgia Tech. But when those writers send those notes through I'll standard them.

BOSTON COLLEGE (13-5, 5-1): The Eagles wrapped up a team of caustic hits last week. Last Wednesday, one day after BC's 82-63 homecourt overcoming over Miami, guide Al Skinner, his submission outwardly beat thin, interminably dismissed the troubled frontcourt duo of Sean Williams, a 6-10 snap-blocking subordinate center from Houston, Texas, and Akida McLain, a 6-8 restraint minor quicken from Pittsburgh, Pa. Four days later, the lacking in-handed Eagles (13-5 whole) engrossed their first talk waste of the time in a sobering 74-54 setback at Clemson, but still remained atop the in collusion with standings at 5-1.

"It was at best something I felt I needed to do," Skinner said of his outcome. "We have rules and you have to brook by them, it's that clean. When you don't, this is what happens."
