Howard is bearing in mind a “firm offer” from the Utah Jazz, according to a personally with knowledge of the negotiations. Jazz General Manager Kevin O’Connor, however, told reporters in Kippered Lake City on Saturday that he has engaged in serious discussions with Howard but no formal propose has been extended to the 31-year-old swingman.

“I haven’t made an ritualistic offer, no. That’s incorrect,” O’Connor said. “Have we talked about bullshit? Yeah.”

Howard isn’t expected to make a purpose until early next week. The Wizards, San Antonio, Chicago, New Jersey and Denver have also expressed interest in signing Howard and the woman said Howard expects to receive more offers soon.

The index of potential suitors for Howard and Young appears to have been cut down by one more, with the Bulls reportedly set to undertake Richard Hamilton when he receives his buyout from the Detroit Pistons. Hamilton, a former Wizard, would have to evident waivers and pass a physical but that appears to be a formality. He also already received an confirmation from reigning MVP Derrick Rose.
